Today we are proud to announce the availability of the release 1.6-RC1 for public preview. It contains

Since today all documentation stuff is translated into english language. Besides some corrections
ware added to the german contents as well. Further, all modules are now multilanguage aware and the
comment module features a captcha protection to avoid spam. Have fun!

Since today, a discussion forum is created under
forum.adventure-php-framework.org
This task resulted from the evaluation within the
framework test article (german only). The forum is meant for discussions about the framework,
getting support or giving feedback to the developer.

feedback or to add you personal expirience.

As announced some days ago internally, the first beta version of release 1.4 is now available for
public testing. This version is the first version, that is compatible with PHP 5. Please refer to the
release notes and available files in the download section.

I'm proud to let you know, that today is the release day of the version 1.3. Beneath various improvements
url filtering was added and the frontcontroller was completely reengenered. A verbose change log can
be seen on the downloads page.
Further, the release features the following issues:
- Tools to generate links
- new frontcontroller
- More components and tools
- new API documentation
- FAQ section
To ease paging between the documentation sites a special pager was introduced. Additionally a search
was implemented and the printing function corrected.

Based on the feedback and hints of some users, many changes have been included in the website. Thanks
to
PHPFriend and
Developers-Guide
for their support.

Errors in build script were corrected, that led to wrong display of some configuration
components.
- External links are now opened in a new window without using java script.
- Links in menu und content were decorated with hover effects.
- The impress was changed and cut.
- A sub navigation for the documentation was added.
- URL rewriting feature was activated for the documentation page.
- Meta definitions are now corrected.
- The source code browser ist now directly integrated into the content.

The guestbook module now features a backend to administrate the postings. The backend can be entered
by providing username and password. To demonstrate this, the demo guestbook was introduced. Please
have a look at demo guestbook. There
you find hints to test the backend.
Additionally, the guestbook tutorial was completed by another page, that describes the design and
code of the backend.

Now, the new documentation website is launched. The site was given a new layout and contains a lot of
new or updated information about the adventure php framework.

Due to non-reproducable errors in the offline version, I created a XAMPP based demo package, that can
be obtained under downloads. This package is only
available for windows user.
